If you want an opportunity where your efforts made an impact, Quest has an opening in our Document Retention department as a Document Retention Clerk. This position is responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the Document Retention department by entering data from a client reporting systems into a third party system. Validates accuracy of reporting by performing VLookups to ensure date is not missed. Creating, maintaining and communicating report log of missing data to other departments. Assist with audits and department documentation requests.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To: 

  • Prepare and conduct quality check documents/images to Monthly Accounting Reports
  • Prepare and organize documents to conform to quality control standards, office procedures and system processes
  • Ensure completeness of files; research missing documents, remove non-essential material
  • Report and seek resolution for document control issues with service providers
  • Prepare reports regarding quality issues with documentation compared to Accounting reports
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with Company staff and with management
  • Maintain regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or to correct transactions
  • Data entry of all Customer documents into special program with extensive attention to detail.

Role Competencies: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of directly related experience with scanning and imaging preferred
  • 10-Key proficiency necessary
  • Strong attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel including Vlookups knowledge preferred
  • Laser Fiche experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Waste and Codes helpful
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including tact and diplomacy
  • Responds well in a deadline driven environment
  • Flexible, uses critical thinking skills and open to learning new ideas/skills
  • Cooperative and willing to assist others
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Easily adapts to new system and process changes
